I figured I would make a short version to our journey to having a baby, things are broken down very simply so anyone who comes across our blog can have a better idea of timing and how our journey has gone.
10.2008 - lost our precious son, placental abruption at 40 weeks & one day.
02.2010 - husband & I feel ready to try again.
03.2010 - we're pregnant! excited, nervous and so ready!
03.2010 - a week of bleeding, appointment & ultrasound confirm ectopic pregnancy
05.2010 - told to wait 3 regular cycles before trying again, so we wait.
06.2010 - period came, ecstatic as we wait for the next two cycles to be regular
07.2010 to 04.2011 - mid cycle bleeding turned missing periods cause me to investigate
& family Dr suspects PCOS, further referring me back to my OB.
06.2011 - HSG procedure, everything looks great! My fallopean tubes are perfect!
07.2011 - progesterone pills to induce period, start Clomid 50mg days 3-7
07.2011 - bloodwork reveals I do NOT have PCOS despite earlier suspicions (yay)
08.2011 - second round on Clomid, not pregnant but ovulation did occur which is good
09.2011 - third round on Clomid, still not pregnant :(
10.2011 - our sweet baby boy would have been three this year. we miss you
12.2011 - three regular cycles, waiting to book with OB in New Year
01.2012 - another regular cycle, OB says we should be able to conceive naturally!!
02.2012 - another regular cycle, wisdom teeth surgery so no trying this cycle.
03.2012 - mid cycle spotting & period is two weeks late, this can't be happening again?!
06.2012 - booked a follow up with my OB - he's going to think I'm nuts :(
07.2012 - finally a period, only four months late!
08.2012 - a regular period? time to start Clomid 100mg days 3-7 lots of wishful thinking.
08.2012 - positive, we're pregnant!
10.2012 - missed miscarriage, D&C
01.2013 - OB gives 'okay' to start TTC again
06.2013 - we're pregnant, praying for Baby Anderson
01.2014 - our baby girl is here! safe, healthy & perfect.
01.2015 - we celebrate Lilly's *first* birthday
07.2015 - stopped nursing after 18 months! my period has returned
10.2015 - regular cycles, it is kind of nice to be "normal"
11.2015 - My Dad passed away
11.2015 - missed period
12.2015 - baby Lilly is about to turn 2 & we're ready to give her a sibling
01.2016 - Lilly turns two!!
11.2016 - My Mom passed away
11.2016 - my period went awol, again.
02.2017 - first period since 10/2016
05.2017 - first since 02/2017, doctor suspects it is "just stress"
06.2017 - another period, am I back to normal?
10.2017 - referral sent to fertility specialist RE:irregular cycles/recurrent loss
10.2017 - progesterone induced period
11.2017 - ovulation detected on bloodwork
12.2017 - naturally induced period (how strange!)
01.2018 - follow up with fertility specialist - everything has changed.
